I would like to make a plea for leniency on the Devils behalf, there is no way that Davey Devil intentionally or otherwise posted what he has been accused of posting for the intentions he has been accused of having.

Davey Devil is a respected member of this community and has many people who know him and would testify as to his character. Therefore I request that Ecksor review his decision and free Davey Devil from prison, maybe with a warning as to future behaviour etc, not that I think it's required.

I think this may have been blown out of proportion and certainly if Ecksor knew Davey he may not have been so hasty.

But seriously, maybe Ecksor had his reasons but it seems like a simple case of an over-reaction to me. Perhaps Ecksor could re-consider the ban?

I presume the admins let each other know who they've banned and why on their forum like moderators do on the mod board. If they don't then maybe such a system would help?

Why dont you read here for davey's own explanation. Whats not to say that you clicked on the link to that site because it was posted in the junior cert forum and you thought that it might be actually relevant to the JC and then saw the pictures inadvertinly?

In fairness Mercadillo, Davey may have shown some bad judgement putting those pictures in the Junior Cert board, but he was not the one who posted the link for the site. He was in fact using the pictures to make a point that the website was of a poor standard. I think you are slightly over reacting here, and maybe your issue should be with whoever posted the link in the first place. A link which is still there now I might add, so banning Davey, but leaving the link there is not really very consistant.

There are many things you should expect when reading Merc's posts:

1. They rarely make any sense
2. The ones written after midnight make less sense.
3. They will more than likely be deleted by him when he realises they make no sense.
4. Hypocracy is a key ingredient.
5. There's no use arguing with him as he contradicts himself constantly.
